Dave Pelter is Founder and CEO of InsideTrip.com which pioneered TripQualitySM, the travel industry’s 1st consumer flight ratings system. Dave is a true travel industry veteran and a recognized online travel and airline industry expert.
Dave’s online expertise extends back to TWA, where he created the industry’s first last minute “web specials” product which included air, hotel, and car pricing. Previous engagements include a two year executive position at Farecast.com (now Bing Travel), as well as a senior consultant and Advisory Board member for Yapta.com
Dave began his career at Daymon Associates as a pricing consultant and continued his career as an airline industry professional, leading pricing, planning and online strategy development at three major U.S. airlines. He held the title of Managing Director, Revenue Management at Alaska Airlines where he led the Pricing and Yield Management departments. Prior to joining Alaska Airlines, Dave held the title of Managing Director, Strategic Planning and Alliances with TWA as well as a series of analytical positions with America West Airlines.
Dave holds a BBA from the University Michigan’s Ross School of Business and an MBA from Washington University’s Olin School of Business.

Like your site and service. One thing I would recommend is to add a series of Environment factors to your search model. Right now I get AirTran as a top pick on an InsideTrip seach – but they are likely to go on strike soon, this should be factored in. Also, flying to Europe on BA right now, not a good idea. Finally there are issues like Volcanic cloud, which should factor in as well. Maybe add a bit of human factor to complement the droids, and you will have a super service!
