Dave Pelter is Founder and CEO of InsideTrip.com. In this role, Dave is responsible for driving the company vision and strategy, while also heading up overall product development. Dave is a true travel industry veteran and a recognized online travel and airline industry expert. His extensive background brings 17 plus years of management, marketing and travel industry experience to InsideTrip.com.
Dave’s online expertise extends back to TWA, where he created the industry’s first last minute “web specials” product which included air, hotel, and car pricing. In addition, while at TWA, he gave the go ahead for the signing of Priceline’s first commercial airline agreement. His recent engagements include a two year executive position at Farecast.com , a travel search engine named Time Magazine’s 2006 50 Coolest Websites, and the launch Yapta.com , a cutting edge trip planning site launched in May, 2007, as a senior consultant and Advisory Board member.
