InsideTrip Launches - TripQuality enters the room and turns on the lights

Hi and thank you very much for helping to get InsideTrip off to such a great start!

The site traffic has surpassed all of our forecasts and we are so thrilled people are responding to our TripQuality view of the world. With an occasional stubbing of our toe here and there, we are listening to everything you are saying and love all feedback, good and not-so-good.

Having previously run the pricing/revenue management department at Alaska as well as the strategic planning group at TWA, I can’t wait to start sharing my insider’s view of the world.

Lots of crazy industry stuff going on: new fare sales, bad bag policies being matched, and general airline industry “pain” involved with oil at 100 bucks a barrel. All of these things affect your travel experience so please stay tuned!

This is exactly what I have always wanted. The value of the flight versus the cost. A few or even 10 dollars one way or another doesn’t matter to me but shorter connections, more leg room, better food. (oh add that in as well.

One option I would like is to be able to have the choice to fly on the same airline for both legs.

If you unclick the ‘multiple carriers’ box in the airline filter on the left-hand side of the page, you then can get only same-airline itineraries.

Just what those of us who travel frequently have always been looking for. We have had to accumulate the information based on personal experience, and now can go to one place to find the key facts that really matter when selecting flights. InsideTrip is my new travel portal.
Thanks and best wishes for success!

Unfortunately your site does not work with IE 6.0 which is a standard at our company. This is going to cause you to lose a lot of potential users.

You need to have business class included in your pricing and cabin class drop down menu, otherwise keep up the excellent work

I agree with Michael 3/19. Our company has 3,600 employees and we all use IE 6.0 - resulting in a lot of lost potential users here also.

Likewise with Cynthia and Michael, It doesn’t work with Firefox either.
